Who We Are
An Independent Christian Ministry
Alternatives is a pro-life, Christian, non-profit organization independent from all other agencies. We strive to meet the needs of men, women, and families in our community through building relationships, but we do not initiate or facilitate independent adoptions. We promote the value of human life by serving the unborn and their families through the love of Jesus Christ.
Our Commitment To You & The Community
Client
Education
To provide clients with complete and accurate information about prenatal development, abortion, adoption, parenting, sexual risk avoidance, STIs, healthy relationships, and the sanctity of human life.
Client
Support
To help men and women in our communities by proving physical, emotional, and spiritual support. Our resources equip our clients to face the future with hope and purpose.
Community Involvement
To be a voice within our community that promotes and upholds fundamental Christian values as it relates to life, relationships, and faith.
Our Faith
Alternatives believes in the following core Christian doctrines:
God created the heavens and the earth.
God’s Son, Jesus Christ, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, was crucified, died, and was buried. He rose again on the third day and ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God. He will one day return to judge the righteous and the unrighteous.
The work of God, the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is able to live a godly life and to perform work for the kingdom of God.
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant authoritative Word of God.
The sanctity of human life as created by God, and in the worth of that life from the point of conception to natural death.
Alternatives Does Not
- Discriminate in providing services because of race, gender, religion, national origin, age, or marital status.
